Industry-Specific Parts Produced by CNC Milling
Aerospace & Aviation
CNC milling is critical for producing high-strength, lightweight components, including aircraft structural parts, engine components, avionics housings, landing gear parts, and satellite brackets
Medical & Healthcare
The industry relies on milling for high-precision parts like surgical instruments, orthopedic implants, diagnostic equipment components, and device housings, often using biocompatible materials
Hydraulic & Pneumatic
It produces precise components for fluid power systems, including valve bodies, pump housings, and connectors that must withstand high pressure and provide reliable sealing
Automotive & New Energy Vehicle (NEV)
Milling is used to manufacture engine components, transmission parts, and suspension systems. For NEVs, it extends to creating battery module housings, motor stator molds, and lightweight structural parts for improved efficiency
Electronics & Semiconductor
The process is essential for making small, intricate parts like connectors, enclosures, heat sinks, and chassis components that require tight tolerances for reliable performance
Energy (Wind, Solar, Oil & Gas)
The process supports the energy sector by manufacturing robust parts for wind turbines, solar tracking systems, and durable components like valves and fittings for oil and gas infrastructure
Robotics & Automation Equipment:
Milling creates high-accuracy parts such as robot arms, gearboxes, joint components, sensor mounts, and structural frames that demand precision for consistent, repeatable motion
Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances
Milling is used to produce durable and precise casings, internal components, and hardware for power tools, appliances, and consumer electronics
Mold & Tooling
Although primary mold-making often uses other processes, CNC milling is crucial for creating the high-precision mold cores, inserts, and other tooling components themselves
